With every project, students are introduced to a “classic” game that utilizes the topic.
For example, when learning Platforming video games, students are given time to play the original Super Mario Bros and Little Big Planet, and think about the elements that separate that type of game from others. Afterwards, students take the best elements of those games and implement them in their own creations.
